As an engineer, my knowledge of sustainable development and public policy was limited. But as the classes progressed, I had a more profound understanding of the historical, political, and social dimensions of many things happening around, especially regarding the history of development. My favourite part was the post-session discussion. We were trained on how to write a research essay and the importance of publishing papers. The ISDG team motivated us to read more and were very professional. Not but least, the diversity of students across ten states in India was a bonus.

The course from start to finish was an invitation to learn from our peers, stay curious, and persist in seeking answers to our questions. The classes helped give us a foundational understanding and encouraged thought-provoking conversations. I often find myself recalling the rich stories and insights shared during the programme. Thankful for the guided learning experience in topics of such relevance and applicability

ISDG post-graduate certification program was a perfect supplement to my bachelor's degree, providing me with a nuances outlook towards public policy, sustainable development and governance. The diversity and expertise of the lecturers truly made the experience worthwhile.

As a development professional, I liked how the session connected the theoretical knowledge with the realities on the ground. The data science module was an intriguing session, and I enjoyed how it connected the current facts on the ground. Also, I had the opportunity to share my ground experience and listen to similar stories from my peers. In addition, I enjoyed writing the original research article as it was my first experience writing a research proposal essay and presenting it to my peers.
